Baked Mullet


  • 1 Mullet
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Peppercorns and sea salt to taste
  • 1 can of peeled tomatoes


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Lay a large sheet of aluminium foil on your baking tray. Put half of the chopped onions on the bottom, place the fish on top and fill its cavity with the remaining onions and the garlic.
Crush the peppercorns and sea salt in the pestle and sprinkle the mixture over the fish. Chop the tomatoes and place them on top of the mullet. Drizzle with olive oil. Fold the foil on top of it and place in the oven for 35 minutes.

When baked, let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
